DIY Destination Wedding in Sunriver
Photography by: Bri'Anne Elizabeth Photography
Nick and Mariah wanted a destination #wedding and thought Central Oregon would be the perfect location. It is an easy getaway weekend for their Washington guests as well as friends and family coming from all over Oregon. As they searched for event spaces in Bend and Sunriver, Mariah's parents suggested Benham Hall at SHARC.
Inspired by the affordability and the Northwest landscape, they knew Nick & Mariah could have a beautiful wedding that included an outdoor ceremony and the opportunity to choose their own caterer and bring in their own beer and wine.
Nick & Mariah’s wedding was a simple but stunning hand-crafted wedding. Mariah’s mom arranged all the flower bouquets and centerpieces while a family friend made the desserts and wedding cake. It was the simplest details that highlighted this wedding. From filling mason jars with baby's breath that lined the aisles, to the flowers on alter that were arranged by the bride’s mom this DIY wedding left everyone breathless. The detail that won us over was the decorated wagon that pulled the tiny ring bearer down the aisle.
Aren’t Nick & Mariah’s pictures beautiful? Because Benham Hall at SHARC is surrounded by a Ponderosa pine forest, a simple stroll along Sunriver's pathways created the perfect backdrop for stunning photos!
