Sunriver's rustic beauty compliments an elegant winter wedding
Move over summer, tis the season for winter #weddings. With a beautiful bride in a gorgeous dress, outdoor pictures in any season are the best; however, we may be biased since Benham Hall is surrounded by a beautiful Ponderosa forest.
Winter wedding and outdoor photos always look good when your theme is "elegantly rustic." Our bride, Megan, wore a vintage inspired lace mermaid dress from Charlotte’s Weddings and More. The groom, Wes, donned a rustic rancher style with blue jeans, belt buckle and boots.
With their wedding in February, Megan and Wes fully embraced late winter in Sunriver. Their photographer, Candace Simpson, did an amazing job capturing the love between these two, backdropped by the natural beauty of a Pacific Northwest forest.
Blurred branches and a view of the Deschutes River make a perfect frame for those tender moments.
Sunriver's beauty is accompanied by walking bridges that added additional rustic elements to the couple's special day.
As the sun sets on the ponderosa pines, it makes for a beautiful backdrop to capture the love between a couple and the eternal friendship with their wedding party.
A wedding wouldn’t be complete without a sunset kiss: stolen moments in the forest are captured as the sky fades into evening.
