Bringing a diapered
child to the pool?
ALL DIAPERED CHILDREN ARE REQUIRED to wear special swim pants OVER their diaper when in the pool. This is not the same as disposable "swim diapers" which are not efficient at limiting waste contamination. Swim pants are available for purchase and can be
reused until outgrown by the child.

Saturday swim lessons
Four 30 minute Saturday lessons starting on the first Saturday of the month.
Classes and times offered:
Available levels now through May 10
Private or semi-private (2 students) are available. Private lessons are scheduled independently based on instructor availability. Reservations, 541-585-3147.
Level 1A (ages 2-5): Introductory class concentrating on water comfort, supported floating, bobbing with bubbles and flutter kicks.
Level 1B (ages 6-12): Introductory class for older students who have not had lessons, but want to learn to swim. Concentrating on water comfort, supported floating, bobbing with bubbles and flutter kicks.
Level 2A (ages 2-5): Participants progress from floating to forward motion in the water, concentrating on freestyle, backstroke and rhythmic breath control.
Level 2B (ages 6-12): Participants progress from floating to forward motion in the water. Both front and back arm strokes will be introduced and breath control will progress to side breathing.
Level 3: Rhythmic breath control is required for this level. Participants concentrate on elementary backstroke, breaststroke and mastery of side breathing.
Level 4: Concentrating on sidestroke and butterfly, with emphasis on water fitness and endurance.

Invigorating, low-impact water class, perfect for all abilities. Bring swimsuit, towel and water bottle; water shoes and water shirt optional, but encouraged.
