Bringing a diapered child to the pool?
ALL DIAPERED CHILDREN are required to wear a reusable swim pant over their diaper when in the pool. This is not the same as disposable "swim diapers" which are not efficient at limiting water contamination. Swim pants are available for purchase at SHARC and the North Pool and can be reused by the child until it is outgrown.
For the safety of all guests, lifeguards and staff have the final authority on rules and safety regulations and may enforce additional rules that are not listed below.
Six “P-L-E-A-s” for Protection
From Waterborne Illnesses
PLEASE don’t swim when you have diarrhea –
this is especially important for children in diapers.
PLEASE don’t swallow the pool water.
PLEASE practice good hygiene.
PLEASE take your children on bathroom breaks.
PLEASE change diapers in a bathroom -
not at pool side.
PLEASE wash your child thoroughly with soap
and water before swimming
